Covered patio ideas

We are looking at adding some kind of cover over our patio so that we can enjoy sitting outside even when it rains. Because of the slopes on the house we can not figure out what slope or design we want. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The picture will show you the slope. Thanks for any ideas.
