Oil Rubbed Bronze is something that has always been in style: and will probably always be in style because it is associated with charm.

Way down tending in favor of brass.

Personally prefer it over brass.... also like nickel satin.

Love ORB and no swat team is going to change that. Do what works for your space

Within reason, I like to have my home somewhat up-to-date, although my favored style is traditional. I just don't want it to look like Miss Habersham's house, where the clock stopped and the spiders moved in to set up residence with their dusty cobwebs. There has to be something in between?!

I love brass as well!

I have replaced brass fixtures in two houses now and shake my head at the "gold" trend. It reminds me too much of brass! I like both oil rubbed bronze and brushed nickel/brushed stainless. For me both oil rubbed bronze and brushed nickel go better with my other style preferences (trim color, wood tones, flooring, etc.).

I have some antique brass light fixtures from a Victorian house I owned years ago.... I took them out because I didn't trust my tenants.

I love ORB and I don't care if it's in or not. Honestly, if folks weren't using it, there wouldn't be so much on the market.
