I can't decide if we should install beams on a new construction. We had the architect draw some in, but I kind of like the open space. The plans call for 4 suspended decorative beams to run from just below the awning Windows (13 feet off ground) to the space even with the light fixtures. Anyone have a thought?

We also have 4 beams planned for the kitchen that would run on the ceiling from the range to the Windows. Thoughts?
