Front entry/landscape help!

Hello,
We have just completed a gut interior remodel of a MCM and desperately need exterior ideas. The entry and side yard are current focus. We are looking for ideas for new planters/porch entry and landscaping/creative privacy screen for side entry(last pic). Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks so much!

I'd brighten the entry with a colorful door. Concrete planters and an interesting copper retaining wall are interesting...

^ Yes. It may be worth it to you, and save you some money in the long run to have a professional design a plan for you. Some nurseries will even give you a brief consultation if you take in pictures of your property...just call around and check...Don't go big box stores, but locally-owned companies.
