Most all the worthwhile yellow-red bicolors are 80-90 varieties. Old German is the earliest I can think of off-hand @ 75 days.

How about Little Lucky? With Brandywine as a parent, it has great taste and, because it is saladette-sized, it matures a bit earlier than other BW types. It's one of my favs!

Check Big Rainbow too. Though it did not do quite well for me last year. But the color and texture is close to Pineapple.

grow a few plants in hydroponic. it doesn't need to be a complex setup, $5 bucket, an inexpensive ph meter and some water soluble fertilizer is all you really need.. plants grow and mature about twice as fast compared to soil. i generally grow in both, so i have fruit coming in early and the ones in soil for later on.

I grow Golden King of Siberia (from Baker seeds). It is supposed to be orange-yellow heart-shaped, meaty, early tomato with mild fruity taste. It got good reviews on their site. I'll report if it will be true to description.

You could also try Pork Chop. Not the largest beefsteak but it has great flavor and is also very productive. It's the best tasting yellow variety that I have tasted. It will become completely yellow (not orange) if left on the vine to mature. Great tomato!

Old German will usually produce much later than Pineapple. I doubt that Copia, an exterior striped tomato, would even be earlier. Beauty Queen is a bit smaller than Beauty King and typically slightly earlier for a bicolor. A nice larger early pink heirloom, Prudens Purple, is worth considering. It is as good flavored as Brandywine but much earlier than comparable larger heirlooms. Many published DTM values are garbage. Many seed sources would be best to just rate tomatoes as Early, Midseason or Late.

Let us know if you try something new! We LOVE "Pinapple" but I've stopped trying to grow it for the reasons you've cited. I've been growing in self-watering containers lately, and am growing some bi-coloerd "dwarves" this year, but none have promised to taste like "Pinapple".

Now I remember ; I am growing Old German.

I grew big rainbow last year, which is similar. Did not yeild well in my zone, but was very tasty. I would try again if I had a longer growing season.
