The question of whether or not Superthrive (Superjive?) has any intrinsic value as a plant tonic is widely denied by horticulturists with lots of letters after their name and just as widely debated by hobby growers. What isn't denied, however, is that it was never intended to be applied topically, and the only pathway through which it should make its way into the plant is through the root system. It might be worth noting that since the product contains a synthesized version of a growth regulator/hormone, auxin, its use can cause defoliation, especially when topically applied to dicots. The broad-leaf weed killer Weed-B-Gone and the infamous “Agent Orange“ (a combination of 2,4,5-T and 2-4-D) are little more than synthetic auxin, the later being a defoliant that saw widespread and devastating misuse in the Viet Nam theater.

Some clearer images that show what you think are problems in need of attention, and some background information of all you can think of relating to soil choice, along with a description of your watering/fertilizing habits would at least provide a point from which a discussion could proceed.
