I'd be worried it might be a short lived trend and that I'd tire of it.

I design kitchens with undercount sinks and farm sinks. I think it's a very personal choice. I happen to have a large farm sink and I love it!

My kitchen is not finished

A large single undermount sink is similar to a farmhouse sink in terms of bowl size, so it's just whether you like a cabinet front (and maybe even a tilt-out tray there) or the sink material at the front, and how you feel about having counter all around versus only on three sides.

I have had one for years.I Love it!

I love the look and have one ready to be installed. I think it is a personal preference. I like the sink out over the cabinets keeping them from getting wet if water splashes out.
