Is your budget in the daltile subway range or do you have a bit of play there?

When you say "full" are you thinking all the way around to the bottom of the cabs? All the way around to the top of the cabs? or all the way around to the ceiling?

By full, I mean just from the bottom of the cabinets to the counter, and possibly up,to the bottom of the hood behind the range.

My budget can be increased some for the backsplash, but I have already purchased the subway tiles and wanted to try and use those if possible. I'm just not sure on the aesthetics of doing so, and if a smaller backsplash may look better.

I have the same cabinets. I think black hardware would be too heavy with the cabinet, counter and wall colours all being very light. But I don't generally like black or ORB hardware on white cabinets. My hardware is brushed nickel. I used these tiles for my backsplash. Quite inexpensive and really nice, I think. They might be too much pattern with your countertop. I think a white subway tiles will look nice. You can always use a light gray grout for some contrast or a longer length for interest.

Silvermist looks beautiful in your space, as do the cabs and the counters. You must be very excited. One thing missing from your white Daltile choice is contrast.

You can add a little contrast by picking up on the grey in your counters, or playing off of the blue of the walls. These are Fireclay Tiles in Moonshine, Nickel, and French Linen, all three are in the Foundations line and sell for $15/SF.

Just by the way, I recommend Fireclay Tile a lot. They are gorgeous in person, and their web site is highly accessible, but I'm not affiliated with them in any way. I'm sure Daltile does not make glazes in these colors, but they might have something....close enough, and more affordable.

I have about 12 samples from Fireclay when I was going to go another way with my cabinetry. Unfortunately, they aren't any of these colors, but I do agree they are gorgeous and I do need more of a contrast. I really like the French Linen. I have a sample of the color Mica and Ivory I really like.

The Daltile I have is an Artic white that is a brighter, whiter color than the cabinets, so I was hoping that it would contrast some and maybe going with a grey grout, it would give it some definition..I guess I have some thinking to do.

love the floor...don't forget it..as the extra warmth and blonde tones of the wood could allow a more warm beige to work also...the3 tiles shown look really COOL....there is some warmth in the counter.

I just wanted to answer your question with regard to the ikea hardware. I just did an ikea kitchen using faglavik knobs and handles and I was very pleased with the quality for the price. The knobs are only a dollar each and they have a nice finish and heft to them. I have to say though that I don't have experience with higher end hardware, so I can't compare.

My only complaint is that I think the knobs are just a liiittle small, but I don't think it's super noticeable.

Thank you! The backsplash is just white subway tile with white grout. The backsplash is the only place my tile guy didn't mind me putting white grout - he wouldn't condone it anywhere else!

Do you have a photo of your kitchen that you could share? I am considering pairing Caesarstone Nougat with IKEA Grimslov. I am trying to determine whether they go well together.
