We use a speaker fabric insert on most of our cabinets to allow for air circulation, for sound to pass through if our customers put a speaker inside, and to allow the remote signal to pass through. We purchase our fabric in bulk through a specialty distributor, but you can purchase similar fabric at JoAnn's on online through Amazon. I hope this helps!
