Hi Pete,

We planted one around 15 years or so ago from a 3-4' B&B size- for the first 5 years growth was around 6-8" a year, and since then has picked up to 10-12" a year. Definitely not a small plant but a good alternative to a full-size vigorous blue spruce. Blue color is quite good (maybe not as good as the bluest cultivars but decent). Didn't realize they were seed grown.

Thanks. I was trying to get feedback but only 2 people on this site apparently own them. Or maybe they do but just dont want to admit it? The "BLUE IS COOL!" (in all caps large blue lettering, taking up the entire side of the tag) was how they marketed this tree. Thanks again.

Are you talking about this tag? I always see them at garden centers around here as well..
