Did the tech check for ice build-up in the air ports and evaporaters? My friends who own Samsungs tell me that every few years, when their fridges stop cooling, they clear out the contents to coolers, shut off the fridge, and do an old fashioned defrost for 24 to 36 hours. Everything then goes back to normal.

Yea he checked that and it not that. I am not sure who is more frustrated with this fridge us or the service guy.. thanks for helping.

We are also have the same model fridge from Samsung, and it had stopped working within 2 years. It is very frustrating to deal with their Customer service as they all read from a script. We paid for the Samsung technician to come to see the problem and it said that it is a refrigerant leak. Samsung denied that was the case. We have $4K piece of junk in our kitchen. Brought it up to BBB, and Samsung offer us a 40% of money refund which is quite upsetting as we hope this fridge would last at least 8+ years like our old fridge. I guess nothing is built like they used to. Good luck!

You may want to check with your state attorney general. Some states have an implied merchantability law. There is also the US Magnuson Moss implied merchantability law. I think with only 2 years of use you would fall well with-in these cases.
