Is my hummus garbage?

I have done a search, but I'm not finding anything reliable that I can understand. Yesterday I bought two tubs of hummus, one roasted red pepper and one garlic. The grocery bag got set in an unlikely spot and I didn't realize it until just now. So I have two unopened packages of hummus that have been out of refrigeration for about 20 hours.

They both have sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate. So, eat or toss? I know some people toss anything that's been out for more than two hours, but I'm seeing all sorts of conflicting answers. None of it from, say, the CDC or Mayo Clinic that I can decipher.
