Hi, Im getting a new kitchen, and instead of getting a brand new island, I wanted to try and use the old cabinets and granite to try and create an island. I found 2 cabinets that would work well together, they are standard depth cabinets, both have individual granite counters on them. One is 33" and the other is 30", Now, I have put them together and the rough granite sides seem to fit well together, how can I go about bonding/seaming them together? I saw a product called Instabond, but i cant find it in Canada, what would a good product from home depot or lowes be that I can use to bond the granite seams together? Now, I know I can never get a perfect seam like the Pros, but Ill be satisfied for now if I can find a way to seal these and maybe in a while get a brand new island.
