Not sure what you are referring to "fabric cutter"?? I cannot live without my cutting mat with the grids (mine is Olfa) and, at minimum, a rotary cutter. The other things I luuuuve was a gift from my sister: Sew Easy acrylic ruler or ruler cutter. These work for me and, there are few things in life that I am OCD about, but cutting pieces for quilting is one. DO you have a picture of the 'fabric cutter'??

I can only tell you what I have heard. I don't own one personally but they are part of my workplace experience. Ladies who have purchased them really love what they do. As you will see with this link, you can purchase so many dies for all sorts of different shapes. You can stack fabric and cut all at once. If using HST, then I believe the dog ear is eliminated. I have an Accuquilt Go and I love it. It has been a life saver for cutting strips from my scraps.
