Roanoke landscape -

-actually I don't mind working in the yard......
- we do entertain quite often, having family gathering enjoying the pool and the hottub during the bbq season.
-the fence does have trumpet vines growing all over it during the spring summer and fall months
- I find the the plants have really over grown and seem to look crowded... We have split them many times. I was hoping to achieve a more clean line, shrub like modern look, ( see attached photos for my inspiration) . I find I have a wild flower country cottage look and hoping for a overhaul .
-I'm open to color for perennials, but wanting a cleaner look. I'm also looking for a modern edging look.

The measurements from the fence to the end of the edging is 36 inches. I'm undecided on the pond. I'm open to keeping it and redoing it, and I'm also open to filling it in.

Oh dear, I like ponds. You need deeper beds for shrubs. How much can you enlarge them?
