Glass walls with a shower pan?

My plan is a shower pan, with tiled walls on back and side. Plan on fixed glass wall on other side and fixed panel glass and either sliding door or hinged door on "front" long side. The door would have to be on the end with the glass panel because of room around toilet. Will this work?

Money and skill can make anything happen. Don't skimp on finding the right pro to create this. But, I would never want the door on a short side of a rectangular enclosure. Not unless you waterproofed the entire bathroom. And didn't care about getting wet when turning on the shower.

My main question is can I install glass walls for short side and long side using a shower pan and not building a tile shower floor?

You will need to buy a double curb shower pan but yes they make them and yes it can be done.

Shower pans typically have a lip on three sides, you will need one with a lip on two sides only. Frankly, you will probably spend more money on a double curb shower pan than you will a kerdi shower system and tile, but it is your money.

I Agree with Bry911. it's not ideal to fit glass to a standard shower base (pan) however it can be done. You would get a fare better looking end product if you tile the base and existing walls then and fit the glass to the tile, nice clean lines. the hinged door need about 200mm of "meat" to allow for strength to support the door.
