Budded my st Julian a rootstock Thursday night. Went away for the weekend. Wrapped the grafts with budding elastic (wide pink ones) then with parafilm

it looks like the rootstock had excess sap and the parafilm covered buds filled with fluid. Not good in my eyes. It's like the pink of the elastic bled and all the buds are pinky orange in color now. A few look like they've almost dissolved

Rootstock is inside to callous so it's not rain.

is this common?
