I have a fence around my garden, but something keeps getting in and wiping out my young plants. We have rabbits, gophers, voles, & raccoons in the area, but have never caught them in my garden. They literally mow down everything except my chives, rhubarb, and potatoes. Its a huge garden, and we farm so I don't have the time to dig down and put chicken wire in the ground. I have heard laying rolls of chicken wire around may work? The only thing I've found to stop them so far is a "pest repellent" spray, but I have to apply it every few days.
