Exterior - Which one do you like best?

We are finalizing the design for the front of our house, and I'd like to see which exterior wooden siding configuration that people prefer. If you have other ideas, let me know, and I'll try to photoshop those options as well. I've avoided making the entire front part of the house all wood, because it's too dark with the chimney next to it.

I like #1 the best because the wood frames the window.

I chose no. 2, no. 1 take focus away from windows, but hope you pardon me for saying this, but those tree trunks are positioned in the wrong place and hiding the full design of the house.

The tree trunks were already there, and they're too expensive to remove :\

I like #2 better than #1 because it extends the full width of the section of house- I don't like the vertical stripes in #1 at all. And I like it better than #3 because it cradles the window and is the same height as the fence. You also might consider a #4: cover that entire section with wood. I still think #2 would be better but #4 would do alright.
