You mean mirror the entire wall or just those corners? I think I could remove those shelves (they were there when we moved in). Thanks for your input!

I would run the mirror across from wall to wall once the shelves are removed (they're in the way). You're very welcome!

you can add an original wall art to give an attraction and more life to this wall ...and enhance the look....

Thanks all for your ideas! I think mirrors are my answer :) I'm always open to more ideas too!

That would be a sledge hammer job as soon as i moved in it is way too low and unles you are a midget how can you even see past it.

The kitchen is on the other side and here are a few more pictures to give you the overall sense of the space. I plan to take the wall down eventually but for the time being that is put on hold until we take care of a few more pressing items (like finding our new dining table.... that ugly old one in the picture can't be replaced fast enough!)

Hi Alison. Glad you got my phone message! And thanks for calling back (sorry I missed you). I'm looking at these pictures again and I think that the dark paint colour does you no favours. If the light colour were wrapped around to this area then it will look a lot brighter even when the mirror is installed. I will be very glad to see any photos when you've done your little project.
