Knife Rusty After DW

This happens once in awhile, but not this bad:
This is Mikasa flatware that's about 14 years old. Is this my DW or the flatware? Or a wet knife waiting to be washed?
The DW ran this morning, and was emptied a few hours later. Not sure how long the knife was in there waiting for the DW to be run.
