I double checked my calendar and I can host on May 28 or 29 in Elizabeth (near the Walmart).

Yes Memorial is May 30th. The 29th or June 4th, 5th are best for me.

I've been a little bit hesitant to post because I don't want the date of the swap to be determined by when I can be there, and it looks like the last weekend in May works for a lot of people, but I wouldn't be able to come till the first weekend in June. If I can't come to this one, I already have some plants started that I'm sure Barb would be glad to bring along.

Alright, it's been quiet in here for almost a week! I just did a quick count, and count 5 for the 28th/29th, including flowerbelle who is offering to host, and 6 (I'm leaving myself out of this count because I can't do 28th but can 29th, and can do either in June) for the June 4/5 dates.

Good morning everyone! So far I have myself + 12 (Mayberry, ZachS, TreeBarb, GJCore, Oakiris, Mystwoods, B2alicia, LizBest, JoJo, Rossnagl, Neighbor1, Neighbor2). We'll have hamburgers, veggieburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, veggie tray, fruit, beans, artichoke dip, habanero dip, brownies, peach crisp, etc. It's going to be a cool 70 degrees, so please bring layers. We'll move inside if the weather is too cold or inclement.

Several of us are either starting or re-doing our flower gardens so it sounds like there's a stron desire for a lot of plants this year! We have a lot of flower plants and I hope we get a lot of veggie plants too this year. It looks like we'll have, depending on hail damage, snapdragons, thyme, coleus, oregano, leeks, Spanish onion seedlings, roses, bell peppers, chicks/hens, basil, peonies, baby Shasta daisies, Campanula poscharskyana, Serbian Campanula, Shasta Daisy, Chrysanthemum maximum 'Becky', Solomon's Seal, Polygonatum odoratum 'Variegatum', Sedum 'Blue Spruce', Sedum pachyclados

Ah, with regrets! Hubby got a nasty cold, and despite my best efforts, I caught the darn thing and am not fit to be out in public! So, sadly, I will have to miss this swap. I'll head over to the food swap and mention that I will not be able to bring plastic serveware ir the teas. Please take lots of pictures and post them after it's all over, tho!

So googled directions and plan on taking 36 W to 25 S, and then take the exit Meadow Pkwy/CO 86 E. If anyone knows there is construction or something else that makes this a bad choice, please let me know! There were a couple of other route options, but thought this one look the best - on paper.

We had a really nice variety of plants. Thanks to gjcore for the hoop making demonstration and to everyone for making it another great swap! It's so nice to catch up with the RMG folks and to meet new people.

I drove home to another thunderstorm, so I didn't get anything planted yet, but will start this morning.

Zach, I'm glad to hear the little one is on the mend, we missed you. Mayberry, I hope you're feeling better, too!

I agree with all of the above "after the swap" comments and add my thanks to Flowerbelle and Aaron for opening their home to us. It was a lovely location with good company - dogs, hummingbird and chickens included (sorry we missed the antelope) - good food, cooperative weather until the very end, and lots of plants and plant-talk!

Sorry that folks missed the swap because of illness (theirs or someone else's) and hope you can all make it to the next one.

Zach - as much as I seem to be lusting after tomatoes this year, I now have 12 different varieties, (all but two are even planted, lol) which is more than twice what I usually grow so I am going to have to pass - though I know darn well that if you had come to the swap, I would have come home with one or two of your heirloom varieties.

Thank you to everyone from whom I got plants, too - even you, Skybird, lol. (You were there in abstentia and Barb did a fine job of MCing for you.) I have to work today - poor me! - but hope to get some things planted after work this afternoon, if the afternoon rains hold off long enough.

Kudos to Kelly and Aaron for hosting a wonderful swap! Such a beautiful view from your home, lots of space for swappers, too :) Too bad the antelope didn't show up while we were there, but the hummingbird, chickens and dogs entertained us. The timing was perfect, as ran into some heavy rain not too far down the road on our way home!

I'm in the garden this morning finally putting my tomatoes in!! I'll be planting up my swap plants as well. Perfect day for it as it's not going to be too hot, and the ground is soft from recent rains to be easy to work - yea!

Looking forward to gjcore posting the video of his hoop demo (hope I didn't shake your phone too much, Leslie, while I was recording it!). Thanks so much for doing that, Greg & Leslie - great to see first hand how it's done.
