Yes stupid name and that is what I got. It also say's decorative bark. I may take it back if it's hard to break or crumbles.

I called HD and they have 2 cu. ft. Pine Bark mini Nuggets $4.67. So many things that HD is only carrying on line. But this is in store so back my stuff goes.

I bought a bag of the nuggets from HD, they are giant pieces. Way too big.

They also have mini pieces. Check online. My store has it.

I have really like the Pine Bark and the Coconut Husk chunks that I have found at Petsmart the last few times. Really nice size. (Sold in the Reptile area)

Sounds like not all HD's carry the same thing. Even with it being online. Odd

Time consuming but I use a blender then rinse the dust and fines out in a net pot or pond basket. Large nuggets are actually better to buy because there is no yellow wood. Soil conditioner product varies bag to bag and can all kinds of junk in it. If you can find it pecan shells are better IMHO but they need to be broken too.

I thought the pine bark helped with the moisture but not being wet? Would pecan or any shell absorb much.
