Which color paint?

I took the advice from folks here and went to Sherwin Williams with a cab door and a sample of my countertop and am now trying to pick between these three colors. My worry with the darkest, Jubilee, is that it too closely matches my soaptone countertops. Is that possible? The lightest is North Star and the middle in terms of light/dark is Krypton. What do people think?

The very last picture shows Krypton, the middle color in terms of darkness, The second to last picture shows Jubilee, the darkest, and NorthStar, the lightest.

I like North Star and think it will look nice with your window trim. The other colors will also work.

I vote for the North Star color! It seems to be the cheeriest color.

sewsmoreemmareneNorwood Architects Thank you! The North Star is also my preference but not always confident with my color choices. Very much appreciate everyone's feedback!

Not to rock the boat, but I have used Krypton and love it!

mark1993 My husband prefers the Krypton. What room did you use it is? I'm a little worried about the kitchen feeling too dark, but it is a bright room with three large windows that opens to a dining room with french doors and sidelights, so that too is well bright.

    Definitely the North Star!

Is the North Star a little purple-ish? Nothing wrong with that, but be sure that's the colour direction you want to go.

FYI, I'm reading the consumers report on paints, #1Behr Marquee, #2 Valspar Reserve, #3 Behr Primium Plus Ultra.
Ben Moore Aura is 5 and Sherwin Williams doesn't show up 'till #17 !

I like north star....this is off base with what you are looking at but I just discovered SW's rainwashed and I'm using it in my kitchen....I also like the color Offshore mist which is Behr paint at home depot but I would have had SW color match it....just other colors I envisioned but I guess I don't like the darker grays very much...

If you can find something in a shade between North Star and Krypton, with a bit more of a warmth factor, I think it would be perfect.

Ps I agree to try to stay away from a purplish shade of gray, hard to tell on line maybe. So many paint co.'s to choose from, good luck!!

lisa0527 My husband pointed that out but I was hoping if I ignored him it would go away. And not a direction I really want to go in since my Ikea cabs already have a pronounced pink undertone. Back to the painting store...

hmacgarden Thanks for the heads up on the ratings. Didn't even think to check! A trip to Osh and Home Depot is in the stars for me this weekend...

Will you be keeping the soapstone as is or oiling it?

bailey510 Keeping as is. I picked the Minas soapstone because I loved how gray it is.

puremichigan60 Never really knew/thought about the light reflecting component of paint. Will keep it in as mind as we continue the hunt. Thank you!!

I used Krypton in an upstairs bedroom with one window facing Northwest that does not receive a lot of sunlight due to large trees. Based on the description of your room, I am sure it would look even better than mine. Good luck! I tested many colors before I settled on Krypton.

I used North Star in a bathrooom with no window, and that small room looks great. I have used and liked North Star and Krypton.

50 shades of Grey, I went 4 times to Lowes and grabbed paint chips for my bathrooms and all 4 times came home with Krypton. Put it on this afternoon and it is perfect!

Grays often have undertones of blue or purple. Try for a true gray lighter than, but complementary to, your counter color.
