    This is Thymus serphyllum. It is also called red mother of thyme. It is a low growing ground cover that is drought resistant, deer proof and evergreen. It will also take to mowing to remove flower heads if you need. Among it is mixed sea thrift, dwarf pine, blanket flower, lavender, heuchera and blue oat grass.
