I don't see a photo, but "standing proud" is the opposite of "flush". Unless you purchase and install a "fully integrated" refrigerator, no refrigerator will sit flush, even a cabinet depth unit. The box on a cabinet depth appliance is 24", cabinet depth, but the door, and more importantly, the hinges, are as much as 4" deeper. Paneling seems to really make this look even worse. Setting the refrigerator deeper doesn't help. The doors bind against the adjacent cabinets and won't open fully, damaging the doors and the cabinets in the process. Hope this helps!
