Brace yourself.

Suggest you buy a younger, smaller tree because it will root in much faster and will surpass the height in a few years.

That specimen in your picture is an oldster and likely rootbound.

I too would suggest getting a smaller/younger plant and one that has not be pruned into that tiered, pom-pom style. It will never fill in completely in the bare space between the two tiers.

There is also substantial evidence to support that starting with smaller/younger plantings allow faster establishment and root development and therefore faster overall growth. The younger plants often catches up to and exceeds the growth of the older, larger (and probably more rootbound) plant.
