Would you please post the measurements of your pretty space?

A sofa and a couple of chairs is often a better choice than a couch set. The furniture you have now is a bit too bulky for your room. How many people need a seat in your room on a daily basis?

I think if you delete the love seat and add a chair that blends with the brown leather, you would much improve the feel of the room.

But if you can go for a whole new set of furniture, I think you'll love it. Try something with a sleeker profile and a brighter color. The walls, windows and artwork are wonderful.

Here is a different angle of the room,do you mean put sofa in front of window and then just chair on the large wall? I didnt think that would look right.Thank you so much for all your ideas, I really need a change in this room and no idea what to do. I also and going to buy to coffee and end tables at some point

Can the TV be on the wall with the love seat? Then center the sofa on the sofa wall, put the love seat on the chair wall and the chair can go by the sofa near the window, angled toward the conversation area.

If you imagine the two chairs in front of the window as your current loveseat, you could perhaps do this layout. I 'bought' a new sofa, two chairs and a recliner for you though to make this layout, all from Macy's (click on the pic to enlarge it)

Oh... I just noticed that this colour chair would match your painting though :-)

I would put an L shaped sofa where your current one is, with the shorter portion of the L shape in front of the window. The TV would go nicely where the current love seat is, in some type of tall wall unit. The corner with the chair would be a nice spot for a formal desk, with or without hutch. I agree, that lighter, sleeker furniture would compliment the beautiful walls, window and artwork!

Consider a chaise sofa with a reversible chaise portion so you can have more kinds of arrangements. Apartment size Jane would be a good choice and also comes in a standard 3-seat version. This happens to be a color I like but there are other choices.
