I am struggling with the idea of mixing metals in my kitchen. We are in the process of building and I need to choose my lighting and kitchen handles/knobs. The kitchen is contemporary in design with light grey cabinets, stainless steel appliances, neolith backsplash slab in calacatta along with the island. My designer is strongly suggesting the accessories/handles be chrome because our stainless steel hood fan has a shiny chrome edge but I'm non-committal. Having said all of this I am leaning toward doing light fixtures from Hubberton Forge in a burnished steel which looks like a rubbed bronze to me. Any thoughts? I apologize in that I don't have any pics yet as kitchen arrives in May.
