Horrible rose thrips!!!Help!!!

Dear friends!!! My all beautiful roses(zone 8, west of Houston) and their buds are ruined by nasty thrips! Horrible view! So much buds and all will be ugly deformed and browned. Yesterday i sprayed spinosad. Unfortunately, i have no knowledge how to manage them and what chemicals to administer. I will greatly appreciate any help any advice. Thank you, friends!!!

I live near you, and in my experience there's nothing to be done (that actually works). Spring is the worst. It will get better, but they stick around until fall.
