    The batten cladding is composed of fiber cement window casing from Hardie that was repurposed for the battens. The "boards" are actually continuous cement board panels from Nichiha, some as large as 4x12 feet. They have a factory applied painted finish that was color matched to a Benjamin Moore charcoal grey. The factory finish comes with a 15 year+ warranty.
