There's nothing but cabinets in there. I can barely see a wall.

Beige is never our "go to". Everything in your kitchen is neutral so go for a color that will bring some life to the room.

I like the cabinet color but not with that floor color.

A bit late to be asking, no? But, yes they are nice cabinets.

I like the cabinet color, but it may appear different on my screen. I think it's a cool space, but there's definitely a lot of wood cabinetry. I would paint the island and remove the smaller art on cabinet end. A little dark in the corner, so maybe add under cab lights if you don't have any.

I like white cabs.

I like everything but the back splash. Are you asking because you are not sure if you like the room or not? I like the cabinets color.

Do you like it? Are these customizable? It would look much nicer going all the way to the ceiling and with an integrated fridge where the cabs on that wall are lined up with the fridge.

I do not like the dark backsplash either. Also, is that a white dishwasher? If so, I would add that to my do not like column as mismatched appliance colors are a pet peeve on mine.

Thanks all, this is a house we just bought. I happen to love the kitchen. Someone helping us with interior design suggested we paint the cabinets as this color is not in style I guess.

looks like a pretty maple..I wouldn't paint them. change dishwasher, paint walls change backsplash at some point but cabinets are pretty.

I don't think it matters whether the cabinet color is in style or not. The only question is whether you like them. Personally, I'd take wood over paint any day of the week, especially a fairly light wood. I'd change the wall color and backsplash instead.

I love the cabinets. I wouldn't even think of painting them. Love the floor, too. Change out the dishwasher, add some under cabinet lighting, boom, done.

Geez. Don't paint the cabinets. How dumb. They are gorgeous. Real wood always trumps paint. As soon as everybody paints all their wood the in thing will be to strip the paint...and that is a royal pain.

I changed out the appliances so fridge has a more built in look and dishwasher matches. Also added 2 lights over the island and still need to replace the one over the table. Although the table matches we've had it for about 10 yrs and will probably change it as well.

I think what you were asking if the cabinets were a good color. The cabinets and floor are the same color, so there is no contrast and you have a sea of wood. I would lighten things up by adding fabric and texture. Nice big pendant lights would help.The scale of the two pendants you have now is too small.
Also try adding some lighter upholstered pieces if you decide to change out your dark leather sofa.

Kitchen looks great. Add a little more color on the walls & ceiling. Then look for a window treatment that may bring you some pattern.

PS...I think the new pendants over the island are too small. Don't be tentative... make a statement.

Thank you everyone! I am feeling very encouraged! I just bought the pendants and I see how bigger ones would have probably been more impactful. Because I can't exchange them, will look to upstate in the future. I would like to update the light over the table. Any suggestions? I do want to move the darker couches to another room, will look into lighter ones.

Just remember lightness and texture. You have an overload of wood, black and leather now. You are off to a great start. Can you exchange the pendants?

Nice kitchen & don't paint the cabinets. With that said, there's a little too much wood. I may opt for a bright or pastel color on the walls, and a pop of color in an area rug. Neutrals/wood are great, but you need just a touch of contrast to offset them & make them stand out.
