Backsplash help - Quartz or pebble

I am not able to decide between which backsplash to choose.

My shower has pebble accent and the shower pan is pebbles too. I got beautiful looking sink and faucet on the light quartz.

Now confused ! Should I put the quartz backsplash for the vanity or the pebbles.

The color of the bathroom will be light turquoise. The mirror has the cover which will go away. Thanks for the help.

Things are in progress, so the pictures are not very pretty

I prefer the quartz backsplash. In that area, the sinks and faucets will be the stars of the show, so doing the backsplash in the same material as the counter lets is blend in.

The quartz backsplash will only be 4 inches high and then there will be blue paint behind it. So, that wall will get 2 different colors ( white from the quartz and the blue from the paint). Will it create too much distraction?

In the pebble backsplash, the wall will have one color ( blue from paint and pebbles) and pebble on the bottom. Will that make it look more uniform?

What are your thoughts?

That would be way too many pebbles, I think. Using them that often would change them from an accent to a focal piece of the room.

Unrelated, but I don't see any waterproofing in the niche... What waterproofing system was used in the rest of the shower?

I'm another vote for the quartz backsplash.

Temp temp, regardless of the wall color I think the Quartz goes better with the sinks and faucets. To my eye, the pebbles might be too rustic so close to them.

Quartz. You don't really need a backsplash anyway.
