Eggs from the pest snails or eggs from the assassin snails? Or have you not even added assassin snails?

I've had assasin snails in my tank for years until they miraculously disappeared one day (up until last week where one emerged from the substrate after a 6 month hiatus) and they never laid eggs. They are however the best method to get rid of unwanted snails. 2 of them cleared my whole 20 gallon in only a couple of weeks. Other people purposely put ramshorn snails into their tanks to feed them.

Assassin snail eggs take a long time to actually hatch and when they do the babies hide under the substrate for about 6ish months! It's highly unlikely you'll get an infestation of assassin snails, but even if a few do make it there's always a demand for them and you could possibly sell them. They are alot easier to get rid of then ramshorn or pond snails! I rather have an infestation of assassin's.

Are you sure they're assassin snail eggs? And not one of your tetras or the ramshorns?

Thank you for the response; and I'm almost 99% positive that they are Assassin snail eggs. Although I guess that it's not so horrible, since assassin snails are much more attractive than pond snails; But snails have always been an unwanted issue. Ill probably consider selling them if it ends up bad, like you said. Thanks so much again!
