The cabinets look in good shape and the profile isn't too dated, so a paint job may be all you need. But I wonder if just painting the walls might do it. Can you give us a wider shot of the kitchen with the walls and floor included?

I like the color of your cabinets against the back splash! I agree that you just need to update your paint color.

Easy fix. Update the wall paint. I would never paint oak. It has a gorgeous grain that will show through whatever it is painted. Frequently people are disappointed with that look.

Thank you! This is my sisters kitchen so I'll have her send over a picture to include the floor. I'm really trying to convince her not to paint those cabinets they are so pretty and the wood grain is just beautiful. I agree a new wall color would help tie it all in together and thanks for the wall color choices.

Thanks! Painting the cabinets is off the table "YEAH" my sister will have the cabinets cleaned and polished. The walls will be painted gray as suggested. The other side of the kitchen is a bay window with table so there's not a lot of wall space. Once completed I'll post a new picture.

Hello the kitchen painting is complete, the walls were painted grey as suggested. The grey looks fabulous, I'll post pictures this week.
