Yes I direct sowed the spinach and peas. I think once overnight temps get above 30 here, i.e. next week, then we should start seeing some sprouting.

I planted pre-sprouted peas for the first time this year. Started them on 3/24, planted them on 3/27 and covered with shredded-oak-leaf mulch. Many little green shoots are up and looking happy. With the warmer weather predicted, I think we'll see a lot of things really popping.

Agreed! One of the pea sprouts came up and I do expect to see spinach and asparagus this week.
