In order to maintain the clean lines in the kitchen while being mindful of the open concept floor plan, our designer used the positioning of the island and panels to disguise the microwave and dishwasher.

The dishwasher is actually located just outside of view from this image. It is the second cabinet to the left from the sink.

As for the built in microwave, it is located in the island directly opposite the range.
