Skip the mirrored stuff...fingerprints around each handle and knob, but they do look nice. Husband doesn't want glam, but how much can you have without passing the "too much" line?
Maybe a muted metallic finish on the night stands would be more acceptable, with table lamps and white shades. Buy an 8x10 ft. area rug in a nice classic or modern design and lay it sideways under the bed, in front of the night stands, so that you have a soft place for your feet when you get out of bed. The 8 ft direction will extend beyond the end of the bed. Pick a color in the rug for accent pieces, draperies, and some art. A good-sized mirror in a metallic frame could complete the decoration. A tall dresser for him on his side wall, and a long low dresser for you across from the foot of the bed (under the mirror) would complete the room. If you watch tv in bed (some do), it can fit on or over the longer dresser.

How about this? Regency Park nightstand

in my bedroom I have a king size grey upholstered bed, 2 (smaller) mirrored night tables with a black distressed dressing chest from Stanley furniture.. I think just a touch of mirror gives in a glam look without being over the top. I say that to say, incorporate touches of the mirrored finish in your space, you don't have to have everything match and be the same.

Did you end up purchasing the Regency Park nightstand? I've purchased a bed that's similar to yours. The Alana Modern Classic nightstand pictured above was in my inspiration picture with a bed similar to the one I purchased. I'm also thinking of getting the Regency Park nightstand and am wondering if you like it. Thanks.
