There is not much information on HMF. I'm don't grow this rose, but it says it's a sport of peach drift. Maybe it's turning back? or maybe it can pink some?

I have three of these roses, weather, soil or temperature changes make the color lean to pink or yellow. I am not crazy about the pink tones but i love the yellow tones. I bet a nursery person could tell us what affects the coloring.

hmm...I actually really like the combination of the two colours together...

Mine turned pink when we received a lot of rain, and the flower was getting old. We may have been getting cooler nights too. I'd be interested to see if you cut the pink one's off, if you get the yellow/cream flowers again. I think you will.

I think the colour combination is beautiful together. You are very lucky to have all those colours on the same plant. I would just enjoy it while it last because it may not happen again.

I think it’s related to the pH of the soil.

I have 5 popcorn drift and they had this problem the first year and came back again the second year. Did you figure out what was wrong? The one left in the pot longest had it the worse. The ones in the ground all have it and it's mild, gives them a soft peach glow but most still buttery white, but I don't want them to turn all pink! Would love to hear how your roses are doing and if you found a way to improve the color.

I bought one of these plants as well and my new buds and roses are coming out pink as well. I am not a fan of pink and that's why I bought this specific plant. I hope someone can give a definitive answer on how to fix it.

This method is not definitive, but should work.

Get some cobalt-60. Amazon may have it.

Put it near the rose you want to fix.

Like what the hybridizer did.

I planted popcorn last year and had the same issue. So far it hasn't bloomed this year but if it turns pink again i think I'm going to replace it with white drift.

I saw white drift at the nursery today and liked it a lot more than popcorn, it was a fuller flower similar to apricot drift.

I would not replace with white. my white drift did the exact same thing.

Mine has pink spots, anyone else? Maybe caused by my other roses?

Botrytis fungus does this.
