I would think that this would take quite a few years of planning. Planting the tree on it's side. Leaving it hung for quite some time 20-30 days would assist in roots becoming softer, but the haddock roots even then would not bend that much without breaking.

I like the first one, it should get good drainage placed on top of that mound, but I don't personally care for those in the second video. They are too extreme in my mind. I admire and appreciate bonsai and consider it a true art form but I'm definitely not a fan of that kind of manipulation.

Non taken. ;-) But I meant how they look. Cutting plants to imitate something completely different is simply too weird. I cannot fathom why people do that. But what the heck, I can't understand why people participate in dog grooming competitions either. ;-)

It's living art Martin. Bonsai too. Dog grooming look nice too.

I am not sure if it's Laura's or Tracy's but the buddha belly is as natural as I like, and we manipulate those too.

True Martin. When you going to sell your plants on ebay?

Stuart, currently I am out of stock (larger seedlings) but in July or August I will probably sell the remaining 5-10 seedlings. They are too small now.

I have thought about selling on eBay (eBay.co.uk). I should look into that and figure out if it's worth it (you know, eBay and Paypal seller fees).

In May or June I will sow another batch of seeds, maybe 50-70 seeds of Adenium arabicum 'Yemen', A. obesum, A. multiflorum, A. somalense and some pachys (Pachypodium rosulatum var. gracillis, P. saundersii and P. horombense). The new seedlings will be sold in March or April next year. Unfortunately I don't have the time for growing more like I did the past year. It's fun watching them grow, see the excitement of the buyers and enlighten them about The Beautiful World of Adenium. ;-) But the watering schedule is simply too time-consuming. ;-)

I've been watching a lot of vids lately; in any language. I've seen some Adenium manipulation techniques (mostly from the South East Asia sector) that I would have never ever considered in my own mind.

If you know the plant's limitations, you can get very creative.
