It is too bad that Colorado doesn't have a lemon law for appliances. I have just had to junk a two year old induction slide in range by Kenmore, model # 9704013101. This unit was manufactured in October of 2013, installed in a new house in Dec., and we moved in in February, 2014. First, the fan that cools an induction burner was replaced. Then two weeks ago, when using the temperature probe, the circuit board blew. After two visits by technicians, an estimate of $800 for parts alone, I decided I had had enough. This range was manufactured by Electrolux-Frigidaire. I resent being told I have to buy a warranty. Two years is too short for fatal breakdowns.
