New kitchen

We are trying to decide between floating bamboo flooring coffee color(everyone says don't do dark floors but we love the dark 5" planks)or red oak stained a dark color and if we choose red oak we have to go with the 4" I love the floors in this picture what is the wood.
The walls are storm but the sample I have from BM seems a lot darker than the picture shown. did you mix a little white?

    This is a dark stained flat cut oak. The finish was not part of our scope of work and we unfortunately do not have further information. The walls are BM "storm" - images online and photographs do not always capture the exact color. If you feel the storm is too dark for your space, you could certainly cut white in to get the color you are looking for! Good luck with your project!
