If there are other apple trees in the neighborhood, you should be fine. Depends where you live. Honeycrisp is not self-fertile.

Almost any apple (or crabapple) with a coinciding or overlapping bloom time will work. Just avoid any triploid apples, which are considered pollen-sterile - Gravenstein, Jonagold, Winesap, etc.

You want an opinion on what tree to plant for pollenation? Best bet is find a chart and pick one that says it's a good match. So you have two kinds you like and are compatible with each other. Kind of a waste to have a tree that only serves to pollenate.
