We bought a house that was foreclosed on before the deck was completed. Last summer we added the timber frame railings and intended to continue the brick on the posts to railing height. Unfortunately, they no longer make the same brick and I haven't been able to find another that looks close enough not to notice the difference. We have to finish the posts out to meet code. What should we use. Stone? Shingles?
