hi
we are thinking of a fixture 53"x32" the island its going over is 85"x 51"
does the proportion sound good. also what will the plate on the ceiling be. i would love a rectangualr plate to match the material of the fixture.how many connectiong cables will there je.thanks

    Good Morning Mimi,

    Awesome. I think 24" in width would look best visually with that length. Making the ceiling plate rectangular is easy and will look amazing and it's typically held by 2 steel cables (rated to 1000 pounds each). When would you need the fixture delivered?
