what types of flowers are here, the yellow ones on the left and the white/pink ones in the middle? thanks!

    The yellow ones at the left are daffodils. Old House Gardens carries a variety similar to this one called "Butter and Eggs," which dates back to 1777.

    The pink and white flowers are hyacinths, and they have a lovely fragrance. The pink ones you see here could be "Lady Derby," and the white ones could be "White Pearl," both available from the same source. The dark reddish purple ones look like "Distinction," which Old House Gardens carries some years.

    Fall is the time to plant these bulbs, and they will bloom in the spring. Very rewarding to grow!
