What size candles fit this lantern and how do you get them in? Is there a holder or way to prevent the candles from tipping once inside the lantern?

Hello, thank you for your interest in the Verandah Large Cutwork Ceramic Lantern. They hold a standard 4-inch pillar candle. They are placed inside from the top. A 4-inch candle should stay easily stay upright. I hope this information is helpful to you!
