I'm getting ready to add a bench to my deck, and I'd love to incorporate some planters. I'm wondering how shallow I can get away with for the containers. Also, do you have any suggestions for plants that would work well in this situation? It'll be full sun. We're in Buffalo, NY (zone 6, I think), but I'm planning to make it such that the containers could be moved inside in the winter.
