Question is, what are these spots and will it kill the tree? The tree got it's first leaves about a month ago, in the last week or so these spots have appeared and are on probably 88-95% of the leaves. The leaves are still pretty small and many new buds are still coming out. I have seen however that several (maybe 2-3%) of the newly sprouted leaves have turned brown and wilted (see last pic). If it helps, I am in central Florida, the tree was bought at 12ft tall from lowes last march and planted right away. It appeared to have done very well all year. Rain has been moderate but I have watered deep every few days with no rain.
