Need help for my living room

The love seat is facing the dining room table. I've tried putting the love seat on the wall. You can see in the next picture that there is a window on that wall. If it was a sofa it would block some of the window. Where the coffee table ends (you can kind of see the tv on it) the kitchen counter begins. I intend to buy a high back chair and ottoman and possibly put the tv in my bedroom. I would like to buy a rug to go under my table but am concerned it will be too close the the rug in my living room. The window that isn't treated is wider than any drapes I can find online. I may have to buy 4 panels in stead of 2.

Dear Joylass,

you're not the first and only one facing these day-to-day dilemmas.

this is not a simple task as it appears at first sight.

For what we can see is that you seem to have proper space, the furniture pieces are not proportioned to the environment.

Do you have a floor plan or something to go by to understand where the current layout stands? This help my office to take a look and perhaps provide better advice. Again, as a consultation. Not sure what is in your budget, but that can get started later.

Can you just do a rough drawing of the layout? And post it...really will help visualize what we have to work with...

Try this layout....reuse your rug, love seat, coffee table and dining furniture. Do not buy a rug for the dining area.

And if you post a picture of the room facing the stove and kitchen I can tell you if the TV will work in your room or not.

I've thought about switching the order of the dining room and living room. It's a little inconvenient because I'd have to go through the living room to get to the dining room, from the kitchen. I think I will try this layout, though, and post pictures.
